Que tal si una comunidad de músicos alrededor del mundo se unen para llevar un mensaje de transformación desde sus comunidades utilizando el poder de su voz, de sus instrumentos y de su corazón. Y que tal si el proyecto utiliza las economías generadas para crear escuelas de música en estas comunidades desventajadas económicamente. Playing for Change es un proyecto coordinado por Mark Johnson que tiene como base utilizar la música como instrumento de transformación social. Si la religión y la política nos alejan del “Otro”, la música puede ser el vehículo que fomente la armonía, la compasión y el interés de ayudar al “Otro”.
